Bachelor Pad Review

So lets take a look back at the bachelor pad last night and review some of it's highlights. First off, making us wait for Jake's announcement/goodbye was stupid. I thought we would be waiting for some big exit, but really it was just Jake having to say the last word and then leaving. And of course Kasey had to throw up the peace sign and wish him a farewell. Jake didn't stand a chance in that house. He is always trying to be the nice guy on the outside and he could never be as malicious as some of those people in that house. Really, I wish Kasey would have gone home. That way Vienna would exit soon after and then I could enjoy watching the show on Mondays. Although they do bring a ton of drama to the show, which I enjoy also. I just hate the way Kasey acts on BP2. Like he runs the show. I am still trying to figure out when he got this huge head...maybe because he is dating Vienna? I don't know, but it's really starting to annoy me.

The kissing challenge is both my favorite and my least favorite for a couple of reasons. First off, there is always someone that removes themselves from the competition. I understand that you have a kid and don't want you kid thinking you were some slut on TV, but do you remember how demanding and crazy you were on Brad's season of the Bachelor? I believe your kid will see that one day which looks just an awful, Michelle Money. The other reason I don't like this contest is because there are always couples who barely partake in the contest. The give little pecks because they don't want to upset the other person. You are here to win 250k, not worry about who is going to get pissed at you on the way there. The winners of the contest were Ella and Blake. Both of them made out with everyone pretty equally because they wanted to be safe for the next week.

I give Ella props. She has one person in mind and that is her 9 year old son. She doesn't care what it takes to win that money, she just wants it and that's the way I think it should be. You go on the show knowing you are going to have to do things that you 9 year old might not agree with, but you take that chance when you sign up. She went in for the kill with these kisses and explained exactly how she was going to kiss people, which to me showed a lot of strength for her.

Ella chose to take Kirk on a hot air balloon date and a romantic pizza dinner. They both had an amazing time!! I loved watching the two of them be happy. They def make a very cute couple and I am sure Kirk didn't mind going on a date with the best kisser in the house. Also i believe i may have heard somewhere that they are still dating now....if that's the case...good for them!

The other winner was Blake, and man he started so much drama by winning this contest. Him and Holly have been attracted to each other since the day they walked into this house, which only makes things worse since Holly used to be engaged to Michael Stag. Blake really laid it on Holly during the kissing contest while everyone else went in for small pecks to not upset Michael. Blake probably burned a couple of bridges in doing this, but he knew what he wanted and he went for it. He also picked Holly to go on the date, which pissed off Melissa. In Blake's defense, Melissa is CRAZY. He never once said (at least on TV) that he was going to take her on a date. She just kept assuming that he was going to take her and then got her feelings hurt when he decided not to. Blake clearly was never into Melissa and I think she was just trying to convince herself that he was. She literally had a break down about Blake and Holly. Kinda made for a great show last night.

The date with Blake and Holly actually lasted ALL night. They decided to stay together and stay out of the house drama for the night which was probably for the best. They also created more drama by not coming home. Oh well, good for them. Michael has his chance with Holly and he didn't take it. She was MADLY in love with Michael for a long time, and then he was so quick to turn his back on her. (For the record, I know Holly broke it off first....)  He can't expect her to just drop everything and run back to him because he is finally ready to say all the things he should have said 3 months ago. I do think Michael and Holly make a cute couple, and I don't think that Holly is trying to hurt Michael. I think she is just trying to emotionally move on and try something new. She has been hurting for so long, and now she is ready to go out and date and its like she cant because Michael is looking over her at all times.


When she came back from the date she told Michael that her and Blake kissed. I am so proud of her for stepping up and telling him. Even though she knew it was going to crush him, she made a point to go ahead and tell him herself instead of having to hear from other people. She doesn't want to hurt him so I am glad she told him. He is hurting now and I am sure that he will be for a while. But I think he will move on eventually. He will have to move on. She has.

The rose ceremony was actually the funniest part of the night. Everyone was telling Melissa that she wasn't going to be sent home and voted off, yet everyone voted for her. Her friends, everyone. You should take a hint from people if everyone is lying to you that they probably weren't your friend in the beginning. I knew that William was going to go home, he doesn't seem to be mean enough to be on that show. Plus the fact that he wasn't really having any type of connection with any of the women on the show.

I wanted to end this blog with this picture below, i hate to see people cry....but dang this girl is the ugliest crier i have ever seen.

VMA-The Aftershow

Well I am sure everyone had fun watching the VMA's last night! It was def an interesting show. GaGa as a man?!? Her trying to make out with B-Spears, but getting rejected? Access denied. I guess GaGa isn't Britney's type, but Madonna was :)

The other huge exciting news is that Beyonce is pregnant! I can't believe she was able to hide it for so long without anyone knowing. She is super cute preggo though and I know her and Jay-Z will make great parents. They both just look so nice :)

Lets dig down into a couple of who wore whats for the show....the black carpet brought some pretty interesting outfits...as usual.

Selena Gomez looked pretty awesome. Her outfit was very interesting and not something that I would see her in. She was very cute when Justin Beiber came down the black carpet calling him "babe" and snuggling up with him. Lets take a look at what she and Justin wore....

These two make a pretty cute couple I have to say and they seem very happy for being so young. Im sure it is just puppy love, but we will see how long they last.

Next up is Britney Spears, she looked fabulous at the VMA's last night. She was dresses nicely, her hair looked great and she seemed so sweet and centered. I think she really has made a great transformation since all of her drama back in the day. She seems to be putting her kids first, and she seems to be happy in her relationship which is good for her. I think K-Fed was just bad news for her.

Next up is Nicki Minaj...her outfit was super interesting and well I just think shes pretty weird. She may have a good voice and does a good job at performing and keeping people interested, but her outfit was just all out strange

Jersey Shore was all dressed to impress for the VMAs. Well some of them at least. I def didn't like Deena's dress and with her whole lesbian thing going on, the rainbow dress just makes it a little more awkward. The Situation was not at the VMA's due to the fact that their was a hurricane...for some reason I think that is a really lame excuse for not being there since all the other cast members made it there. Im sure there is so other reason as to why he didnt make it.

Another star that was seen was Demi Lovato. I have to say that girl for being a little curvy is actually very pretty. Even my boyfriend made a comment of how pretty she was even though she was a little bigger around the edges. Here is a picture of her and Joe Jonas.

Last but not least we have the man, GAGA. I was a little confused at what she was getting at for this opening act. I mean yes she is a little crazy and cant do things normal, but I would have liked another meat dress or something. She did no make an attractive man....at all. I got her whole tribute to britney thing and that was really sweet and all, but some of the things that she said were a little much. Especially how she would touch her self at night, yeah i dont think if I was Bspears that I would want that image in my head.

MTV's Video Music Award-Pre Show

Tonight is the fabulous MTV VMA's. We all love watching these not because we want to see who wins what, but because we want to see who wears what, who brings who as their date, and who makes a fool out of themselves on stage. Lets see some predicted things for tonight....

First off it is rumored that GaGa is going to open the show....I wonder what she will wear this year. Last year she wore her meat dress, which got a lot of hype everywhere. Im sure she will bring something even better to the table this year....she is just so unpredictable you never know whats to come. I am sure she will win a ton of awards tonight, she normally does and she has had a killer year with her new album.

Adele and Katy Perry are both predicted to win big tonight at the awards. Those two can't make a bad song. I'm sure we will see performances from both, and they will be amazing as always.

Gather around little monsters, it's time for another bout of music magic courtesy of the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. The show will return to the sun-drenched City of Angels for some good ol' Hollywood fun when the show airs live from Los Angeles on August 28.

By now we all know the VMAs will bring it with a slew of A-listers, show-stopping performances, and plenty of Moonmen to reward this year's biggest and brightest stars. The bottom line -- after 27 years there's no award show that celebrates music the way MTV rocks it time and time again.

The 2011 event is bound to be a gathering of epic proportions that will live on in the history of VMA lore. Last year alone saw Lady Gaga's appetizing meat dress and host Chelsea Handler's unexpected pregnancy onstage in a hot tub with the 'Jersey Shore' cast. And who can forget Taylor Swift's performance of 'Innocent,' indie pop sensation Florence + the Machine's mesmerizing performance of 'Dog Days Are Over' and Kanye West closing the show with 'Runaway?'

This Just In! Beyoncé To Perform Along With Pitbull & Jessie J, Adele, Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne and Young The Giant!

This year's show pops three VMA cherries. As if collecting a whopping seven nominations wasn't enough, British songstress Adele plans on letting her pipes loose on the audience for her first ever VMA performance. Fresh faces Young The Giant will also rock their VMA debut, heading back to their home state of California mid-tour for the big event. And Miami rapper Pitbull will bring his summer anthem 'Give Me Everything' to the big stage with special help from cohorts Ne-Yo and Nayer.

Some of your returning favorites also double as noms AND performers. Beyoncé will take the stage with a scintillating performance that is sure to set the stage on fire. Lady Gaga will return to the VMA stage nearly two years after she blew minds with a performance that left her bloodied and dangling from the ceiling. Hawaiian heartbreaker Bruno Mars will set pulses racing while MTV mainstays Chris Brown and Lil Wayne each have a turn heating up the stage and bringing the crowd to its feet. Basically, you're going to want to buckle your seatbelt for this year's performance roster.

In between all the music madness this year's show will also have a little treat in store for anyone with an appetite for film. VMA viewers will get an exclusive peek at the highly-anticipated film 'The Hunger Games,' unveiled by the film's leading lady Jennifer Lawrence.

Jersey Shore

Sorry guys for not writing for the past couple of days, but work has been really busy and things at home have been busy. Luckily with the hurricane that came through I have extra time today to sit down and write a blog. I decided the best thing to write about today was the VMA's and of course the encore episode of Jersey Shore tonight. Lets begin....

So on Thursday night things blew up in Italy at the Jersey Shore house, Sammie and Ron are at it again with the arguing and fighting. I really hope this whole season doesn't revolve around them fighting all the time because that will make for a boring season, again. After words between the two of them were spoken, then came the drama with Ron and The Situation, which we will discuss more about that later. Also, Deena got the wrath from Vinny and Pauly D about her lesbian experience a couple nights ago. "Lesbehonest Deena." I think I laughed at that comment for about 20 minutes after it was said. Pauly D always knows what to say at the right time. I am not sure about Deena this season, she seems to be a little bit more wilder than she was before. I guess we will see what the rest of the season has to hold for her.

Now on to the most talked about this from the Thursday night episode, the beginning of the end for Ron and Situations friendship....well for a feek weeks at least. Pretty sure they are cool now. Round 1...FIGHT!

Ronnie looks like he is PISSED and i have to say, i would be scared to death if he came at me ready to beat my ass. The Situation is always trying to start drama between people in the house, so I am actually glad this is happening. On thursday we dont get to see the outcome of the fight except for Mike getting put in a stretcher to go to the ER. He looks like he gets beat up a little bit, but as I said we dont know the full outcome until tonight at 7PM.

The other thing that I don't understand is the preview for the sunday night episode, JWOW is acting like she is BFF's with Ronnie. Her and Sammie start yelling because JWOW needs to chat with Ronnie to calm him down. Since when did JWOW calm anyone down? She was actually contemplating telling Sammie than Ronnie has been talking to some girl Hannah in Italy and wanted her to come visit. Didn't she learn her lesson in Miami??? A girl fight is always good on the Shore though....maybe there is another one in the works

Well thats all I have on the Jersey Shore, I know tonights episode is going to be insane and The Sitch is going to be in a neckbrace. I wonder if he is going to borrow Snooks?

I hope that the Sitch and Ronnie don't hug it out 10 minutes after the fight. I want to see some drama on this show and now just "Ronnie your not paying attention to meeee." I want real drama that will last for a little while.

Lets first take a look at Vienna. When looking at her pictures from when she was on Jakes season on the Bachelor, her nose is MUCH longer and now it is short and cute....Not sure what else she has had work on, but I am sure there will be more to come.

Well we ALL know that Heidi had had surgery on just about every single part of her body. We saw from the Hills show that she went under the knife for long long hours of procedures and then looked so fake after. She still now looks awful. She was so much prettier before when she was young and innocent. Now shes blonde and SUPER fake. I think i heard a rumor that she was trying to undo all the crap she had done. Probably should have thought about that before you spent 20+k. Wet paint says "A first round of surgeries in April 2007 — a breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, and lip injections — left the reality starlet looking a little more Hollywood, but undergoing a shocking 10 surgeries in one day in January 2010, turned Heidi into a full-blown Barbie doll. After brow-lifts, ear-pinnings, a chin reduction, a second rhinoplasty, and size H breast implants, the sweet girl from Colorado we met in Season 1 of The Hills is almost unrecognizable"

Janice Dickinson

She has had a tummy tuck, boob job, bob lift, jowl removal, cheek implant, collagen, botox and more totaling over 100,000. She calls herself the first supermodel, but she needs to forget that title. Shes looking rough!

Jennifer Gray

Dirty Dancing star OBVIOUSLY had her nose done, and I have to say thank god she did. That nose was ROUGH. I cna't blame her for going under the knife for that. She recently won dancing with the stars, and it was good for her to be on that show because after dirty dancing, no one saw her as being a star. Props to you for getting to nose job Jenn!

NeNe Leakes

She has had a nose job, breast lift and lipo, which she thinks is not that bad. She called it a tune up instead of a change. I think she is pretty both ways, before and after.

Taylor Armstrong

Taylor has had more on the face filler, botox side than anything else which is why everything looks plump on her. Her ex husband recently committed suicide

Kris Jenner

Kris has had some work done in her 55 years. She got a face lift before her daughters big wedding and has also had a boob job at some point and time. You can tell from the two pictures there has def been some face work there.

Ashley Tisdale

So young to have been under the knife, but she actually just got her nose corrected due to a deviated septum. Looks like they might have done some other things to her nose besides just fixing that. :)

Bristol Palin

Bar far this is the most drastic transformation I have seen in a long time. Bristol Palin went from the chubby cute american girl, to a totally new person. Nothing on her looks the same anymore. I liked her the way that she was.

Earthquake in MD today

Cant believe that we really just had an earthquake in MD today. Happy everyone was ok. I guess they are saying that it was a 5.9 magnitude and the epicenter was in Louisa, VA. They said that there was damage done to the National Cathedral in DC. The earthquake was felt all the way down to North Carolina, with a lot of building evacuating.

President Obama is in Martha Vineyard vacationing, so even though they evacuated the white house, he wasn't there.

They are expecting some aftershock to happen within the next couple of hours and for traffic to start piling up. Unfortunatley, I am still at work and no one was scared, so back to business as usual!

There are tons of articles floating around now....and the picture at the top is great! That was DC starting to recover from the earthquake. Really recover?? Yes it was big, and yes everyone felt the tremors, but it was really ok.

Anyways--glad everyone is ok!

Biggest Loser season 11

 

How did it feel when you got eliminated from the Biggest Loser?

I was upset, I really felt like i had hit my stride.  Things were starting to click for me.  The weight was starting to fall off.  When you loose 16 lbs and still get sent home its really hard.  I think if i would have went home because i wasn't preforming it would have been easier.  But since i did get eliminated in such a way it opened a lot of doors. 

 

How much weight have you lost since leaving the show?

Since finale, i am hovering right around the same area. 

 

What kind of exercise do you do each day?

I am almost finished with my personal training certification, and i love group fitness classes.  I do about hour and half a day in the gym.

 

Is you dad always that funny?

Actually he is even more funny!  Hard to imagine but he is even more loud and funny then he was on TV.  He is doing Great by the way!

 

What’s your favorite food?

Is this a trick question? lol Duh!  PIZZA, always will be, just now i have it in moderation:)

 

What’s your favorite movie?

This is a tough one, but if i had to give you one i would say Remember the Titans.

How hard was it for you on the Biggest Loser not being able to eat what you wanted?

Actually you can eat anything you want.  Nobody stops you from eating.  We have no food police.  Weight loss is about personal accountability.

Ya we got Two Beta Fish lol!

 

What is one thing about you that a lot of people don’t know?

I can do the full splits, and i did it a 500+ pounds during my final interview with the Network.

 

How much fun is The Biggest Loser behind the scenes?

Fun?  LOL its weird, you wake up everyday with a goal in mind.  To burn X amount of Calories.  We had some great people on my cast.  We always had a great time.   We are like a big family.  I would say more hard work then fun:)

 

Whats your favorite song on your Ipod now?

hmm i have to be honest i got a Iphone i got one song on it i just use my Pandora! lol  I love anything that makes me Dance!

 

If you had to give people trying to lose weight advice what would it be?

I would ask them if they want the good news or bad news first.  Good news is the only person that can get this weight off and change is themselves.  Bad news, is the same as good!  Only one that can do it is you!  So stopping wanting it and start WILLING IT!
